Real Estate with Hope Watson
Have you ever had any questions about real estate but didn’t know who to ask? Maybe you want to pursue a career as an agent or maybe you’re just thinking of selling or buying a home.
Regardless of your questions, I’m here to answer everything from getting your real estate license to what’s the current market look like. It’s my goal to educate you about the wonderful industry that is real estate and to give people an insider look into the what exactly it’s all about. So, without further ado, welcome to my real estate blog, I'm happy that you're here!
I guess it seems fitting to start with who I am, how I got here, and what you can expect from me. My name’s Hope Watson and I do the work so you don’t have to. I am passionate about researching and writing about my findings so that people can easily learn about all areas of real estate without all the hassle. I got my real estate salesperson license right after graduating high school, and even wrote a book about what it was like and how I was able to do it. I practice my business in the great city of Las Vegas, and we’ve had a pretty wild real estate year here so far. I’ll get into that at a later time, but you’re not going to want to miss it.
I dedicate countless hours to studying data about the market because I am a firm believer that numbers are the only way you can truly get straightforward and reliable information. I’m here to give that to you so you can be just as educated about real estate, as it is something that will always be a constant in our lives. People need somewhere to live, and real estate gives them just that. I love working in an industry that has a ceaseless demand, even if the market itself fluctuates from favoring buyers to sellers to buyers again. You know how it goes.
I didn’t learn everything all in one night, and in fact, I’m still learning new things every day. But it is my hope that you are able to gain valuable insight from these weekly blogs, and I am looking forward to sharing my knowledge with you.
That said, if there is a topic, idea, or question that you would like me to cover, feel free to reach out to me on any social media platform or by emailing me as well! I will see to it that I address your needs and do so in the best possible way I can.
I don’t want you to leave this introduction post with nothing by knowing my name, where I’m from, and what I plan to do here. So, here’s a little something extra for those of you who have supported this blog by simply clicking on the page!
As you may know, there has been significant speculation about whether or not we will be seeing a market crash during late 2019 and going into 2020. While I cannot speak for every city’s specific market, I can tell you what studies have shown me from a broader standpoint.
People are still spending money, and this advanced by the fact that unemployment rates are at a low with new opportunities for careers rising steadily. We are seeing more all-cash buyers as prices have been decreasing, and in addition to this, interest rates are at an all-time low. The upcoming generation of millennials are ready to buy, and they aren’t going anywhere. The combination of these traits suggests that while it may not be considered a healthy market, the real estate industry will not feel the potential recession as much as it did back in 2007/2008. The circumstances are simply not the same, so researchers are confident that while we may see the market slow down, it will not be the severe crash that people fear it to be.
Thanks for reading, and I look forward to catching up with you all again next week!
