On this day two years ago, the attendees of the Route 91 Harvest Festival were attacked by a malicious man who inevitably injured 422 people and killed 58. Today, we pay our respects to those who lost their lives and to the families who live on from them. My deepest condolences are with the families and friends of the victims, as I hope that today you are surrounded with the upmost of love and compassion.
We must remember the united state that our city became following this tragic event. Thank you to the thousands of people and first responders that came together in support of those who were affected. It is that memory that brought us #VegasStrong.
I am unbelievably proud to call Las Vegas home, today more than ever.
